How do I order?

Add pieces to your order and send it via WhatsApp or call us — or visit the studio at 22 Terry Building, near Adey Ababa Stadium. We confirm your measurements before anything is made.

How do sizes work?

Every piece is custom-made to your measurements. We take them at the studio, or guide you by video call if you’re ordering remotely. The full checklist is in our measurement guide.

How long does an order take?

Most custom pieces are ready in 2–4 weeks, depending on the design. Rush orders for weddings and events — ask us.

Do you deliver?

Free delivery within Addis Ababa. We also ship nationwide and worldwide — we’ll arrange it when you order.

Can I bring my own design?

Yes! Bring a photo, a screenshot, a sketch — or just the idea in your head. “We don’t just create designs, we bring your vision to life.”

06 / Story

ወግ means tradition

It began in 2023 with three newly graduated friends and one shared idea — start from zero, and aim to become something great. No investors. No showroom. Just two sewing machines and stubborn belief.

The two machines didn’t stay two for long. Word travelled, orders grew, and today the WEG family counts more than thirty artisans and two showrooms in Addis Ababa. Who exactly are we? That part stays a mystery — let the clothes speak.

WEG takes its name from the Amharic word for custom — the knowledge passed hand to hand, weaver to wearer. Every piece begins with Ethiopian materials and Ethiopian hands: handspun cotton, borders woven on traditional looms, finishing done in our own workshop.
